Dellafae A. Holt, age 83, of Belle passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 30, 1936, at home in Summerfield to Arvell and Faye (Jones) McQueen. She grew up in Belle, MO and graduated from Belle High School in 1954.
Dellafae married James W. Holt on May 17, 1958, and together they resided in Belle. Two children were born to this union, Jim and Tammy. James preceded her in death in 2004. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Belle. She worked many years at International Shoe Company and many years as a homemaker.
Dellafae’s greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends. She had a kind and generous spirit and was always blessing others with an encouraging word or a thoughtful gift. Her other hobbies included bowling, fishing, crocheting, and most of all, worshiping with her church family.
Dellafae is survived by one daughter, Tammy Fredendall and her husband Kevin of Belle, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Devin Lawrence and her husband Kevin of Edmond, OK (Skylar, Londyn and Lincoln), Tony Holt and his wife Taryn of Bentonville, AR (Honesty and Bella), Brooke Lansford and her husband Nathan of Belle (Anastyn and Natalie), Heather Chandler and her husband Tallon of Springdale, AR (Charlotte and Pepper), Trent Fredendall and his wife Ashley of Belle (Malachi, Emrie, Myla and Elsie). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by all those that knew her.
In addition to her husband, James, Dellafae was preceded in death by her parents, Arvell and Faye McQueen, her sister, Helen Tennyson, and her son, Jim Holt.
Visitation for Dellafae will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Belle First Baptist Church with Robert Trigo officiating. Interment will follow in the Countryside Memorial Gardens near Bland.
