Charles Ray Klein

Charles “Charlie” Ray Klein, age 63, of Belle passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his residence.

Charlie was born March 3, 1957 in St. Louis, a son to the late Clinton Charles and Lila Mae (Thompson) Klein.

He was a 1975 graduate from Ritenour Senior High School in St. Louis and was baptized at High Hill Christian Camp as a young man.

In the 80’s, Charlie purchased 88 overgrown acres out of Belle. He worked tirelessly to turn it into the Saline Valley Farm where he bred, raised, trained, and showed Missouri Fox Trotters. In November of 1986 he was united in marriage to Linda Schneider of Jefferson City. Their precious daughter was born in November 1995. Danie ‘Danielle” Klein was a beautiful gift from God. After his retirement, he was fortunate to have his beloved mother live out her last days at his farm. Charlie loved being in the country and enjoyed boating, fishing, playing guitar, and being with his horses. He will be missed tremendously by his family and all his friends he made throughout life.

Charlie is survived by: one daughter, Danie “Danielle” Klein; two sisters, Linda Morsher and her husband Chuck of Bellevue, Ohio and Emma Lou Parcell;  1 niece, Krisinda Parcell, and 2 nephews, Joe Morsher and his wife Julia, and Stephen Morsher; Charlie was a great-uncle to, Sophia and Cade Morsher; and special friends, Kyle, Jodie and Klint Meyer as well as many extended family members and friends.
