Tonya Lynn Broadhurst

Tonya Lynn Broadhurst of Leasburg, formerly of Bland, died Sunday morning, July 10, 2011. She was born on December 2, 1977, in Sullivan. The daughter of John Owens and Ida Ziegler. Tonya graduated from the Belle High School and married Daniel Broadhurst on September 23, 1995. They have one daughter Amanda.
Surviving Tonya is her husband Daniel and daughter Amanda. Also surviving is her mother Ida and her husband Albert Rowen, four brothers Johnny Jr., Sam, William, and James Owens, and seven sisters Tina Clark, Gayle Owens, Barbara Hays, Beth Yeager, Tammy Rowen, Lisa Rowen, and Nicole Bray.
Tonya had worked for the nursing home in Linn and the Sonic Restaurant in St James. She was a member of the Bland Volunteer Fire Department. Tonya was a housewife and a mother.
Services for Tonya will be held Wednesday afternoon, 1:00 PM, in the Sassmann's Chapel in Bland. A visitation will begin on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM
Burial will be in the Bland Union Cemetery.
