Tammy Lynn Tripp

Tammy Lynn Tripp, age 63, of Owensville passed away Monday, February 7, 202 at the Mercy Hospital in Washington.

She was born March 20, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late Earl Combest and Lavelle Tripp.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Born Gatanny Lynn Tripp, her family dubbed her Tammy and that is what they called her. She came into her “family” in 1974 when she met Rhonda in school. They immediately bonded as sisters and remained lifelong friends. Tammy was kindhearted and her favorite color was pink. She loved stuffed animals and putting together jig saw puzzles. Tammy loved animals and especially the babies. She will be truly missed by those that knew and loved her.   

Tammy is survived by: four siblings; her closest and lifelong friend, Rhonda Vancil; and her adopted aunt, LaGuin Barnett as well as a host of friends that she made through the years.   

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
