Sylvia Jane Boatman

Sylvia Jane Boatman of Belle died Thursday, May 26, 2011, in the St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. She was 68. Sylvia was born on August 3, 1942, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is the daughter of James Makin Kennedy and Ivy Mae Holland Kennedy. Sylvia worked for most of her life as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.
Surviving Sylvia is her husband Jim Boatman, a son Jim with his wife Michelle Boatman, and a daughter Debbie Loomer with her husband Phillip of Tucson. Also surviving Sylvia is her mother Ivy Mae of Tucson. There are eight grand children and two great grand children.
Sylvia was an only child and is preceded in death by her father and two daughters Cherie Brewer and Caron Burrow.
