Ryan M. Costley

Ryan M. Costley, 42, cast his final line on Wednesday, April 28, 2026, leaving behind the quiet Missouri ponds he loved and a family that meant everything to him. Ryan was a man whose kindness spoke louder than words. Whether he was on the job or lending a hand to a neighbor, he worked hard and never asked for anything in return.

If Ryan wasn’t with his family, you could almost certainly find him with a fishing pole in his hand. His happiest days were spent at the Butler ponds in Belle, waiting for a bass to bite and soaking in the peace of the outdoors.

Ryan leaves behind a loving family, including his father, Michael; his brothers, Michael and his wife Mandy and Steven and his wife Amber; his half-sister, Abi; and a niece Kaitlinn and 5 nephews Austin, Colton, Chase, Dylan, and Easton who will miss their uncle.

Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Costley, his maternal grandparents, Elmer Ray and June Mabel Party and his paternal grandfather Leroy Costley.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle from 12:00 p.m. ~ 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at the Community of Christ Church Cemetery in Linn.
