He was a longtime member of the Belle First Christian Church and a 1965 graduate of Belle High School. Following high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Bill loved anything cowboy. From his belt buckles to anything with a cowboy theme he could find at antique stores, Bill collected them. He liked to go on trail rides in Eminence when he was younger and enjoyed sitting on his back deck watching his horses graze when he got older. He enjoyed watching Lonesome Dove as well as many other westerns and reading his Western Horseman Magazines. Bill was a joker with a very sharp wit and enjoyed sitting around the liars table at JJ’s or the Dinner Belle drinking coffee and solving the worlds problems. He loved taking gravel road trips in “Old White” which was his old Chevy truck but most of all he loved the times spent with his family. Bill will be missed greatly by his family and those that knew him
