Randy Dewayne Rhoads

Randy Dewayne Rhoads, born December 26, 1957, to Mann and Lillie Rhoads, passed away at his lifelong home on June 10, 2026, with his faithful dog, Buster, by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 21 years, Terri Ellen Rhoads; his brother in faith, Mason Rives; his niece, Eliza Pope; and his sister-in-law, Oleta Rhoads.

Randy is survived by his biological children, son Joshua Rhoads (Tonya) and daughter Amie Rhoads; and by his grandchildren, Ebonie Asamoah-Boadu and Aziah Rhoads.

He was also blessed with the privilege of fathering many others throughout the years who became his children in every way that mattered, including Heather Peanick (Chad) and granddaughter Ella Czeschin; Heather Goode; Josh Rowe (Corrie); Tito Pope (Gina); and Jonathan Light (Amber). He is also survived by his granddaughter, Allannah Blackwell.

Randy is survived by his lifelong siblings, brothers Larry Rhoads, Pat Rhoads, Rick Rhoads (Jaimole), and his sister, Larayna Pierre (Patrick); and by those who became family later in life, brothers Elmer Hill (Marty) and Craig Haines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including one great-nephew with whom he shared a particularly close bond, Matthew Rhoads.

Randy retired from Emhart Glass after 33 years of dedicated service. He also spent many years working on the side for Green's Cabinet Shop and Zumwalt Electric.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, sharing daily coffee with his brother Elmer, picking up his brother Larry from the local airport to attend weekly Bible study with many of his brothers, fishing, hunting, and working on the family farm and around his home.

The loss of such a great father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and confidant will leave a tremendous void in many lives. Randy was steadfast in his faith, loved fiercely, and would tell you all, if he were still here, "Do not mourn me when I'm gone, because I have gone to Paradise."

No doubt he is now dancing once again with the love of his life.

In accordance with Randy's wishes, the family will be holding a private celebration of life. At a later date, once cremation is complete, a graveside gathering will be scheduled to lay Randy to rest beside Terri at Pilot Knob Cemetery.
