Morris C. Buenemann, Sr.

Morris Buenemann, Sr. passed away on June 2, 2024. Born in Augusta, MO on April, 8, 1937, he is preceded in death by parents Robert and Flora (nee Fuhr) and brother Roger. Morris was the beloved husband of Mary Jo (nee Kapfer), the loving father of Morris, Jr. (Barbara), Pamela and Christine (Lawrence), proud grandfather of Ryan, Jason, Allison, Eric, Preston and Olivia and great-grandson Levi.

Morris was a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and spent his career as an accountant, controller and CFO, retiring from Hagemeyer Electronics North America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching his son’s baseball teams and travelling.

Morris and Mary Jo retired to a farm outside Belle, MO where they raised Angus cattle and enjoyed living out in the country, hand feeding their cows, tending their garden, feeding their hummingbirds and being with family and friends.

A celebration of Morris’ life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle, MO. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00, service at 11:00, with reception to follow at the Belle Community Center.
