Michael "Mike" Albert Fogelbach

Michael “Mike” Albert Fogelbach of Beaufort, Missouri passed away on March 29th, 2026 peacefully at home.

Mike lived a full and blessed life for 83 years and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He shared 44 years of marriage with his wife, Karen, and was the proud father of five children. Nothing brought Mike greater joy than his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he took immense pride in each of them.

Mike devoted more than 40 years of his career to the printing industry. He began at Von Hoffmann, where his dedication and work ethic led him to become a foreman. He later retired from Universal Printing at the age of 59, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.

In his younger years, Mike enjoyed racing cars on both dirt and asphalt tracks. As a devoted father, he coached his children’s soccer teams and later gave back to the sport by serving as a referee for many years.

Mike loved to travel, especially cherishing a memorable trip to Alaska with Karen. He also fondly embraced his role as the lone male companion on many of the girls trips to the Caribbean, a role he carried out with humor and pride. Staying closely connected to his family was always important to him, and he frequently spent weekends traveling to visit his adult children in their homes, treasuring the time together and the opportunity to remain an active part of their lives.

After family, Mike’s greatest passion was fishing. For many years, he brought his family to Pomme de Terre Lake, a place that became especially dear to him. Upon retiring, he purchased a trailer at the lake, where countless memories were made. Mike patiently taught every family member (and many friends) how to fish. He loved his boat, whether fishing, water skiing, or tubing. While bass fishing was his favorite, he also enjoyed catching walleye and stripers. Though Pomme de Terre held a special place in his heart, he rarely passed up the chance to explore other lakes and test their waters.

Mike touched many lives with his kindness, generosity, and steady presence. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Michael is survived by his wife, Karen Fogelbach, and three daughters; Stacey Fraley (Carie Dunn), Barb Nesler, and Kimberley Fogelbach (Forest Warren). Also by his grandchildren; Eliana Wilkerson (Nick), Angel Fogelbach, Amanda Cravens (Jim), Amie Smith (Sammy), Christopher Nesler (Danielle Coogan), Chase, Nala, YoDa, Tucker, and Gracie Mae. His great grandchildren include; Charlotte, Kingston, Makaila, Delilah “lala”, and Haiden.
