Kathryn Elizabeth Gibson

Kathryn Elizabeth Gibson, age 61 of Belle formerly of Granite City, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her residence.

Kathryn was born on November 16, 1953, a daughter to the late Joseph C. and Geneva (Bush) Gibson.

Before moving to Belle, Kathryn worked at SCI Laboratories near St. Louis.

Kathryn enjoyed fishing and loved all animals.

Kathryn is survived and will be lovingly remembered by: a son, Chad Gibson of Newburg, MO; a daughter, Jana Birks of Belle; one granddaughter, Breanna Birks; and one sister, Marilyn Shands of Vienna.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by Donnie Birks.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
