Judith Gehlert

Judith Elaine Gehlert of Belle died Tuesday, February 5th, 2013, at the age of 65. Judy was born on February 18th, 1947, in Maries County. She is the daughter of Ruby Butler Redden and the late Andy Redden. Judy was joined in marriage to Gordon "Pete" Gehlert on February 25, 1967.
Surviving Judy is her husband Pete, her mother Ruby Redden, and two sons Gordon Holden Steele Gehlert II and Jeremy Gehlert. Also surviving are three sisters Audrey Gieck, Ellen Henson, and Dale Banks with her husband Larry, and one brother James Andy Redden with his wife Pat. There are many nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by two brothers in law Gilbert Gieck and Herb Henson.
Judy worked for the University of Missouri in Rolla for 22 years as a key punch operator. She was a dedicated mother to Jeremy and Holden.
Judy had been cared for during the final stages of her cancer by her sisters Ellen, Dale, and family.
A memorial service will be held for Judy on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Liberty Church of Christ.
