JD Edgar Woods

JD Edgar Woods age 81, of Linn, passed away at his home on March 6, 2012. He was born January 28, 1931 in Coodysbluff, OK, to the late Elmer and Pearl Williams Woods.
He was married on November 22, 1952 to Bonnie Loughridge in Clayton, Mo. He later married Joan Hargrove.
He worked as a repairman for J.R. Knoerr Jewelry & Appliance in Linn, until his retirement.
He is survived by one son, Michael Woods, of Auxvasse and two daughters, Patricia Woods, of Holts Summit and Jessica Henderson, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two sisters, Dimple Turner of Mesa, AZ and Vivian Myrick of Haslett, TX and one brother, Ralph Woods of Eugene, OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
Per JD's wishes, there was no visitation.
Private family graveside service and interment was at Countryside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were under the direction of Sassmann's Funeral Service in Belle.
