Janet Kathleen Paasch of Bland route died peacefully Monday evening, March 11, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was 62. Janet was born on January 2, 1951 in St. Louis. She is the daughter to the late Harry E. and Edna Baumgarth Clarke. On January 4, 1991, Janet was married to Glen Paasch in Owensville.
Surviving Janet is her husband Glen, daughters Amy Threadgill of Texas, Vera McDowell of New Haven, Rhonda Ammerman of Illinois, and Leah Backman of Texas, and sons Joel Anderson, Arnold Anderson, August Anderson, Owen Anderson, and Wade Anderson all of Texas. Also surviving Janet is her sister, Jane. There are 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Janet lived in Texas until the early 80's. She has been a school bus driver for the Owensville School District for 27 years. Janet had many interests in her busy life. She strived to do her best to serve Jehovah. She loved gardening, canning, and becoming better at riding her horse. She liked being outside and just enjoying life. Her favorite saying was "I am solar powered". A memorial will be held at Kingdom Hall in Owensville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
