Genevieve Maria Wiles

Genevieve Maria Wiles passed away August 16, 2011. She was the daughter of James and Laura Bell (Skaggs) Seymour. She was born April 29, 1926 in Maries County. She was 85 years old.
On August 29th, 1945 she married Jasper H. Wiles and to this union four children were born, Gary, Jerry, Mark and Kathy. There are five grandchildren Sean Wiles, Jerod Wiles, Sonya Durbin, Shannon and Shay Burke. There are eight great grand children Blake and Nick Wiles of Wichita, Kansas, Garrett and Chase Durbin, Brendon Wiles, Cadance "Katie" Rae Burke, Arleigh Campbell Burke and Deason Ray Burke.
Preceding Genevieve in death was her husband, Jasper Wiles who died March 25, 2010, son, Mark Alan Wiles (who was killed in a car accident in 1974) and Jerry Lee Wiles, who died August 3, 2011. Two sisters Edith Hemme and Elsie Reese, two brothers, Alfred Seymour and Raymond Seymour and two brothers who died in infancy.
Genevieve loved to work in her garden. She was a great lover of flowers and had many beautiful flower gardens. She also loved to make afghans and beautiful quilts.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Belle V.F.W. Auxillary for many years. She was kind and loving to everyone. She will be sadly missed.
