Gary E. Nichols

Gary Eugene Nichols, age 64, of Belle passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his residence.

Gary was born on July 16, 1954, in St. Louis, a son to the late Frank N. and Mildred (Klebb) Nichols.

Gary attended the Belle school system and received his G.E.D later in life.

He had been employed at Chrysler in Fenton for many years and had also worked at Play-Mor Trailers in Freeburg. Gary had been a area resident for most of his life. 

Gary liked animals and had many pets through the years. He enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts, watching westerns and Clint Eastwood movies, old time Rock and Roll, and spending time with friends.

Gary is survived by: two brothers and their wives, Harold Nichols of Belle and Charles Nichols of Belle and several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his longtime companion and friend, Fern Litton, a sister, Regina Kolb, half-brother, John Macom and half-sister, Sandra Swan.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Liberty Cemetery near Belle.
