Dorthaleen "Dot" E. Noblett

Dorthaleen E. “Dot” Noblett, age 82, of Belle passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her residence.

Dorthaleen was born February 27, 1935, in Osage County, a daughter to the late Robert “Buck” and Lillie (Schultz) Ridenhour.

She was a 1952 graduate of Belle High School and a lifelong area resident.

On July 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to Denis “Gene” Noblett at the Vienna Methodist Church. Gene survives of their home in Belle.

Dot was a member of the Belle First Baptist Church and served as the church custodian for a time.

Dot was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, and embroidering. She enjoyed listening to older country music and liked to celebrate every holiday that came around. Dot loved her sweets and coffee but her true love was time spent with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be missed greatly by those that knew her.

Dot is survived by: her husband, Gene Noblett of Belle; four children, Jeanette Struemph of Belle, Linda Mitchell and her husband “Pudd” of Belle, Dennis Noblett and his wife April of Belle, and Kenny Noblett and his friend Jolynn Moreland of Belle; nine grandchildren, Kirt, Dustin, Jessi, Amber, Jamie, Judy, Abbi, Tyler and Emma; nineteen great-grandchildren, Madi, Corina, Cheyenne, Koda, Kelhen, Kandyn, Maycie, Karsen, Natalie, Garret, Riley, Reagan, Taylor, Logan, Lucas, Braxton, Makenna, Aubrey, and Millie as well as many extended family members and friends.

Dorthaleen is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Dot will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Belle First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with interment at Countryside Memorial Gardens near Bland.
