Dorletha Helen Withouse

Dorletha Helen Withouse of Belle, Missouri passed away April 3, 2020 in Rolla Health and Rehabilitation facility, in Rolla, Missouri, where she had been a resident for approximately a year and a half.

Dorletha was born on August 5, 1929 in the vicinity of Pilot Knob/Summerfield. She was the daughter of the late Chesley and Mary Matilda (Tillie) Goodman. On September 6, 1947 Dorletha was united in marriage to James (Jim) Withouse. They were blessed with four boys.

Surviving Dorletha are three sons, Kirk Withouse and his wife Vicky of Vichy, Kem Withouse and wife Barbara of Belle, Jamie Withouse of Belle; one daughter in law, Carol Withouse of Belle; Nine Grandchildren, Abbi Plummer, Mark Withouse, Joshua Withouse, Jeri Nelson, Matthew Withouse, Anni John, Mary Withouse, Kelsi Kliethermes, and Katelyn Sands; and twelve great grandchildren.

Dorletha was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, who passed away on June 4, 2003; one Son, Douglas Kit Withouse; two sisters, Myrtle Oliver, Fern Cramer; three brothers, Keen Goodman, Bob Goodman and Jerry Goodman.

Dorletha was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed as the keeper of the Withouse clan. She taught us graciousness, hospitality, and how to gather for good food and family times. She loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed teaching them all sorts of games.

We love you, Mom and Grandma.

Private family arrangements have been made and burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
