Donna Marie Gehlert

Donna Marie Gehlert, age 67, of Belle passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

Donna was born August 19, 1946, in St. Louis to parents Homer and Melvina Moore.
On October 16, 1976, she was united in marriage to Edward Lee Gehlert in Bland, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2001.

Donna worked at Brown Shoe Company in Owensville, Missouri until the family moved to Belle. She enjoyed quilting, baking, the St. Louis Cardinals, reading, bird watching, spending time with her family, singing, listening to old country music, and good jokes.

Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Carver of Belle, her son Christopher Gehlert of Summerfield, her son and daughter-in-law Edward Jr. and Eva Gehlert of Owensville; brothers Mike, Keith and Gary Moore, brother-in-law Jerry Marshall and sisters Lynda Dodson and Carol Walker; grandchildren Tabitha Hurst, Jerry Adkinson, Rhonda David, Scott and Corey DeBerry, Nikita Carver, and Wayde Smith; great-grandchildren Kaylei Hurst, Cody and Elli Adkinson, Anika David, Madalynn, Colton, and Brayden DeBerry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvina and Homer Moore; her husband, Edward Gehlert; her sister Sandra Marshall; her son Ronald DeBerry; and her daughter-in-law Diane Gehlert.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life and love that surrounded Donna and to commemorate all of her good works.
