Dennis Ray Stradford, age 74, of Mexico, Mo and formerly of Belle, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico surrounded by family.
He was born on March 7, 1952, a son to the late Harry and Margaret (Rector) Stradford. He was a 1970 graduate of Bland High School.
On April 28, 1973, he was united in marriage to Mary Hoffman. Mary preceded him in death on March 9, 1973.
Dennis had been employed at Florsheim in Jefferson City, MO for over 20 years along with other positions throughout his career before retiring. Although, he did return to work at Pin Oaks Living Center for just over 5 years. His second retirement in 2023 took and he was able to relax more and enjoy his last years.
Dennis enjoyed the simple things in life such as playing scratchers and watching westerns and sports. He was a straight shooter and was never one to not speak his mind. Dennis was a bit stubborn and was fiercely loyal to those who were close to him. Above all, he was a dedicated family man and will be missed greatly by his family and anyone who knew and loved him.
Dennis is survived by: two sons, Danny Stradford and his wife Robin of North Carolina and Steve Reinkenmeyer and his wife Lori of Florida; one daughter, Sheila Reinkemeyer of Georgia; four grandchildren, Anna Campbell of Mexico, Tiffany Nock of Mexico, Brittany Ulrich of Mexico, and Alexander Stradford of Mexico; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Arlene Snodgrass and her husband Charles of Owensville; and one brother, Donald Stradford of Bland as well as many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-in-law Barabra Stradford, and is back in his beloved wife Mary’s arms.
Visitation for Dennis will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Dennis Stradford.
