Clinton Harry Stradford

Clinton Harry Stradford, a lifelong resident of Bland, died early Sunday morning in the Frene Valley Nursing Home in Owensville. He is the son of the late Edward and Laura McGuire Stradford. On February 17, 1948, Harry was married to Margaret Rector and to this union three children were born.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Arlene Snodgrass with her husband Charles of Owensville, and two sons Donny with his wife Barbara of Bland and Dennis of Abilene, Kansas. There are eight grand children and sixteen great grand children. Also surviving Harry are three brothers Charles of Elsberry, Stanley with his wife Darlene of Owensville, and Leo with his wife Pat also of Owensville, and two sisters Darlene Shoemaker with her husband Doyle of Lonedell and Dorothy Riethemeyer of Foley.
Harry is preceded in death by his wife Margaret who passed away in 1992. Also preceding Harry are four brothers Raymond, Henry, Ralph, and Fred, brother in law Howard, a grandson Chuck and an infant great grand daughter.
Harry worked for several years in the Shoe Factory in Bland. He was retired as a truck driver, working for Boettcher Concrete.
