Carolyn F. Robertson

Carolyn F. Robertson, age 76, of Belle passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at her residence.

She was born April 12, 1946, in Owensville, a daughter to the late Lawrence and Lorene (Barnett) Hosfeld.

She was a lifelong area resident and a 1964 graduate of Owensville High School.

On June 6, 1964 she was united in marriage to Jim Robertson in Owensville. Jim survives of their home.

Carolyn was a longtime member of the Christian Church in Belle and was active in her children’s sports when they were young. She enjoyed watching westerns, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, comedies on T.V. and loved Elvis. Carolyn was feisty, tough and had a great sense of humor. She was good cook, a hard worker and loved spending time with family and friends. Carolyn will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of 58 years, Carolyn is survived by: one son, Todd Robertson and his wife Annie of Columbia; three daughters, Tracey Auer and her husband Matt of Valley Park, Tasha Busch and her husband Drew of High Gate, and Tanel Robertson of Belle; nine grandchildren Shaylea Auer, Shawne Auer, Shayne Auer, Trae Robertson, Teague Robertson, Tait Robertson, Grace Busch, Molly Busch, and Victoria Busch; and one sister, Joann Barth and her husband Jim of St. Louis as well as many extended family members and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children, Travis and Torrie and one brother, Donnie Hosfeld.

Visitation for Carolyn will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Belle from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Belle with Doug Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Knob Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pilot Knob Church Cemetery.
