Bobbi Jo Tyler, age 55, of Belle, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Bobbi was born August 13, 1967, in Rolla, a daughter to the late Robert Westerhouse and Peggy (Land) Westerhouse. Peggy survives of her home.
Bobbi was a lifelong area resident and a 1985 graduate of Belle High School.
On August 24, 1985, she was united in marriage to Tracy Tyler at the wilderness church in Silver Dollar City. Tracy survives of their home near Belle.
Bobbi was employed at the Osage County Sheriff’s department as a radio operator for three years before going to work for the Missouri Highway Patrol. Bobbi was employed at both Troup F and Troup I for nineteen years as the assistant radio chief. She was a hard worker and loved what she was doing, hardly ever missing a day of work even through her chemotherapy.
Friends and family would say she was a little bull headed and would definitely tell you what she thought if the moment came up. She loved travel, whether it was on cruises or the yearly trip to Sturgis on the back of Tracy’s Harley. Bobbi was baptized recently. She absolutely loved spending time with her family and especially her two grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and anyone who knew and loved her.
Bobbi is survived by: her husband, Tracy of Belle; her mother, Peggy Westerhouse of Belle; two sons, Cole Tyler and his wife Ralicia of Belle and Dalton Tyler and his wife Frankie of Winter Haven, Florida; two grandchildren, Grayson and Emalynn Tyler; one sister, Michelle Tinker and her husband Scott of Bay St. Louis, MS; her mother in law, Shelby Michel; and a granddoggy, Hailey Jo as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two nephews, O’ryon Guinn and J.P. Tennysen and an uncle, Joe Stoehr.
Visitation for Bobbi will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Belle from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Belle beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Kevin Runge officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Liberty Cemetery.
