Batist 'Bruce" Bayhylle

Batist “Bruce” Bayhylle, age 35, of Bland, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

Bruce was born July 2, 1986 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. His father Arnold Hawk Bayhlle, precedes him in death and his mother Pamela survives of her home in Cushing Oklahoma.

He was a 2005 graduate of Cushing High School. Bruce had been an area resident since 2015 moving from Cushing, Ok.

He was employed as a C&C operator at Quaker Windows in Freeburg.

Bruce enjoyed fishing, detailing old cars, and attending any car show he came across. He was fascinated by lights and was known to even put led lights on his kids bikes. He was driven by his music and it seemed he was always listening to something.  Bruce was a proud father and was active in his children’s activities. They were his life. His greatest joy was time spent with them whether it was camping, floating, or playing basketball. Bruce will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Bruce is survived by: his best friend, Samantha Mayfield of Bland and their two children, Kali Mayfield` Bayhylle and Braydan Barzee as well as many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Hawk Bayhylle.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel in Bland.  Memorial services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Mark Farren officiating. Bruce’s cremains will taken to Pawnee Oklahoma for burial.
