Annabelle Louise Pyatt , a long time resident of Belle entered into eternal peace on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the age of 90. Anna was born on September 9, 1921, in Decanter, Illinois, to Jesse Howard and Violet Mae Rochester Weeks. On October 18, 1937, Anna married Noel Haskell Pyatt. They were married for nearly 59 years before Noel lost his battle to cancer in 1996.
In her early years, Anna loved to do ballroom dancing. She was an avid bird and doll collector. In her leisure she enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, quilting and spending time with her "kids". She always had a joke to tell and a smile on her face.
Anna is preceded in death by her loving mother Violet Mae Weeks and father Jesse Howard Weeks, her husband Noel Haskell Pyatt, a beloved daughter Sandra RuthAnn Pyatt and a great grand son Noel Jacob Durbin. Also preceding Anna are 5 brothers William, Jesse Oral, Joseph Donald, Erwin "Butch", and Edward Weeks and 4 sisters Ida Mae Sargent, Elenora Stapleton, Sherrie "Rita" Leasuchner, and Junie Grace Weeks.
She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children Sherrie B. Pyatt of Belle, Noel Howard Pyatt of Belle, Leona Neutgens and her husband Kenneth of Zimmerman, MN, Haskell Eloy "Buck" Pyatt of Granite City, Ill, and Daisy Durbin with her husband Charley of Belle. There are 11 grand children Sherrie "Missy" Pyatt, Ida Kinney, Mat, Tim, Lori, and Tom Neutgens, Michael and Noel Pyatt, Charles "Chuck" and Chance Durbin, and Charro Reasor. There are 24 great grand children, 3 great great grand children, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Services for AnnaBelle were held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Belle Church of Christ. Interment was at the Belle City Cemetery.
