Aaron Fredrick Herrington

Aaron Fredrick Herrington, age 31, of Bland, passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 6, 2026, at his family’s farm.

He was born December 23, 1994, to Steve and Joann (Sachs) Herrington in Rolla, MO.

Aaron was a 2013 graduate of Belle High School. He was the manager of the Fastenal Store in Rolla, Mo.

Aaron loved his family. Growing up in the demolition world, Aaron watched and helped his dad build and run derby cars since he was 3 years old. That is how he got his #3. He was the #3 of his dad’s #63. This was his life passion. You knew where you could always find Aaron, he was in his shop trying to figure out how to beat the “grey area” in the rules of the next derby.

Aaron didn’t know a stranger, he loved to visit with all his friends, competitors, and derby families. He knew everyone.

When Danielle was pregnant, Aaron would lay his cellphone on her belly and play a derby video. Once Beau was here and fussy, Aaron would lay his cell next to him and play the derby. Beau would always calm down and go to sleep. Aaron loved being Beau’s uncle and spoiled him. They were best buddies. If Aaron was in the shop, that is where Beau wanted to be. He loved helping his Uncle Aaron work on cars. When Beau got old enough, Aaron and Poppy bought Beau his first derby power wheels car. Aaron was so proud to see Beau run and have the same passion that he had for the derby world.

In school Aaron was a member of the FFA, where he raised steers for the fair and built his car trailer. Aaron loved sports. He was in track, basketball, cross country, baseball, and loved soccer. He loved soccer so much that he helped coach Beau’s team. Aaron loved the yearly family camping trips to the river. He loved music of any kind. Danielle and him were always going to some kind of concert.

Aaron was preceded in death by his Gramps and Granny Sachs, Papaw Herrington, and his “brother” Reven Newbound.

He leaves behind his parents, Steve and Joann, sister Danielle, nephew Beau, Mamaw Herrington, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
