Loren Martin Newbound, age 66, of St. James passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his residence in St. James.
He was born March 17, 1955, in Rolla, a son to the late Bruce and Dolores (Seymour) Newbound.
Loren was a proud Marine Veteran, a member of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church, and a former member of the Midwest Drifters, Rolla Charter.
Loren loved motorcycles, riding horses, and he barrel raced when he was younger. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, eating, and watching westerns.
Loren is survived by; three children, Patrick Medlock of Marshfield, Tonia Hazel and husband Nick of Owensville, and Reven Newbound and Wife Samantha of Owensville; six grandchildren, Ciara, Kyah, Tristyn, Addysan, Avery, and Kiah; sister, Stephanie Ridenhour and husband Roger of Belle; and a sister in law, Edith Newbound, along with many nieces nephews and other extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Loren was preceded in death by two brothers, Chris Newbound, and Jerry Newbound.
A final ride is planned for Saturday, August 14, 2021, meeting at the Belle City Park at 10:15 a.m., and kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. for Loren’s final ride out to Pilot Knob Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. all at Pilot Knob Baptist Church. Interment will be in Pilot Knob Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
