Kelley Jo Hayes, age 55, of Belle, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at her residence.
Kelley was born on December 31, 1962, in Rolla, a daughter to the late Joe and Betty Lee (Moreland) Hayes.
She was a lifelong member of the area and a 1981 graduate of the Belle School System.
Kelley had been employed at the Missouri Department of Revenue for 29 years and 3 months. She retired on October 1, 2015.
Kelley was a giver and put others needs ahead of her own. She was always available for anyone that needed help. Kelley had a huge heart. Her dedication to others and to her community will be missed greatly by those she helped and by those that knew and loved her.
Kelley’s hobbies included doing floral arrangements, quilting, making crafts, watching scary movies, and collecting Indian memorabilia. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed social networking.
Kelley is survived by: two nieces, Lori Bentlage and her husband Robbie of Belle and Bobby Manion and her fiancé Toby Backues of Licking; one great niece, Casey Bentlage of Vichy; three great nephews, Cody Manion, Caleb Manion, and Tanner Bentlage; two great-great nephews, Brogan Maxwell and Daxton Bentlage; one great-great niece, Nattilee Manion; one brother-in-law, Bobby Cook of Licking; three uncles, Bill Moreland and his wife Jan of Summerfield, Gene Moreland of Cuba, and Bert Moreland and his wife Myrna of Bend, OR as well as many cousins, extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Kelley was preceded in death by; one sister, Carol Sue Cook; one great nephew, Trevor Bentlage; two aunts, Jan Moreland and Dorothy Smith; one cousin, Brian Smith; and one uncle, Everett Smith.
Visitation for Kelley will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Belle.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Belle with Mitchell Seaton officiating. Interment will be in the Skaggs Chapel Cemetery near Belle.
